Older homes generally have more issues and therefor take more time during the inspection, and writing the report.

Inspecting even small buildings take time, both in the report and during the inspection.

A trip fee is charged when I have to go back to the property to inspect a component that was not working, or accessible during the inspection.  For instance, the attic was sealed, or the water was off.

I set up the test at the end of the inspection, and retrieve it 48 hours later.  The home MUST have closed door conditions both 48 hours before the test, and the 48 hours during the test.

The test measures Picocuries per liter (pCi/L) of air, and is the standard unit for measuring radon levels in indoor air, indicating the concentration of radon gas present, with the EPA recommending mitigation if levels reach 4 pCi/L or higher to reduce health risks.
